Upcoming Meting April 10th 3pm-5pm

NAPD Region 3 are hosting a meeting on Wed April 10th in Mullingar Park Hotel from 3pm to 5pm.
Tea/ coffee will be available at 2.45 pm
Brendan Little from DAS, will give a presentation on the new free legal service offered by DAS to all NAPD members and their families since last November. He will outline possible scenarios and also answer any queries.

NAPD Region 3 is postponing our meeting on DEC 5th as not oval of our retired NAPD leagues can attend on that date. We plan to reschedule for late January. Wishing you all a happy festive period and all the best for the next few weeks.

Next Meeting Dec 5 th 2018

Our next NAPD region 3 meeting will take place on Dec 5 th in Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim, Co Meath. We plan to have a small presentation to any NAPD member who retired in the past 2 years.

NAPD Region 3 Guest Speaker

NAPD Region 3 are delighted to welcome Mary Meaney Barrister/ M.Ed./ Author as a guest speaker
at our next meeting on Wednesday Oct 3rd at 4.15pm in Mullingar Park Hotel.
Mary will outline a school's Code of Behaviour and reference SEN students and recent High court cases involving same. There will be time for Questions and Answers at the end.

Free History Resource

Cork University Press will publish The Atlas Of The Irish Revolution this
September. 105 of the world's leading experts have written chapters for this publication.
Free school lesson plans are being developed in tandem with this book.

There will be 8 teaching units on the period from 1845-1923 covering a range of topics.

They can be adapted to suit Junior Cycle, TY or Senior Cycle.
